A personal invite from Marty
Building A Vision for Your Life
I’d love to have you join.
Hey!
I’m hosting two intentionally small Building a Vision for Your Life workshops this September, and I want to personally invite you.
The idea behind it is super simple:
We spend a lot of time living our lives, but we don’t always give ourselves much time to actually think about the life we’re building.
Over three intentional hours, I’ll guide you through a process to step out of the day-to-day noise, think (and dream) BIG about what you want the next few years of your life to look like, and begin turning that vision into something you can actually act on.
You don’t need to know exactly what you want yet. That’s what the workshop is designed to help discover.

WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?
Three hours to get clearer about what matters most - and what comes next.
My hope is that you leave with:
✓ A clearer picture of the life you want to build over the next three years
✓ A better understanding of what’s giving you energy - and what may be quietly taking it away
✓ A clearer sense of who you want to become and what matters most right now
✓ Clear next steps so you can make your vision a reality (and it doesn’t just stay in your head)
Ideally, you leave thinking:
“Radical. I can actually see what I want my life to look and feel like three years from now and I know where to start.”
WHAT WE’LL ACTUALLY DO
You’ll think, write, reflect, imagine, talk, laugh, and probably surprise yourself a little.
We’ll explore what makes you feel alive, what’s giving and taking your energy, who you’re becoming, what you want more (and less) of, and what the next three years could look like if you gave yourself permission to think a little bigger.
And no weird stuff. I promise. No forced vulnerability. No weird icebreakers. No chanting. No promise you’ll manifest a yacht by Tuesday.
Just insightful questions, thoughtful reflection, positive energy, meaningful quiet time, and a few uninterrupted hours dedicated to something that probably deserves a little more of your attention:
Your life.

THIS IS FOR YOU IF...
Life is good, but you’re wondering what’s next
You’re entering a transition or new chapter
You have too many possibilities rather than too few
You’ve been postponing something important until “someday”
You want more energy, adventure, freedom, connection, meaning, and fun in your life
“I’ve been looking for a kick in the ass. This is what I needed.” - Tad Dexter
If you’re curious about what comes next, I think you’ll really dig this.
WHAT’S RESONATING
97 NPS | 32 of 33 participants rated the experience a 9 or 10.
“What I found most valuable was being guided through the STOKE framework. It helped me stretch what felt like a lofty, big dream into practical steps I can take to make it a real possibility.”
- Candace Brown
“I highly recommend Marty’s thoughtfully designed workshop, Building a Vision for Your Life. Through targeted reflective exercises, it helped me focus on what I want to be doing over the next three years, and, just as importantly, what I don’t want to be doing. What had felt like a scattered approach crystallized into a lean and actionable plan to guide my decisions going forward.”
- Thia Replogle
“I’ve been a bit lost in life recently without a sense of direction. This workshop was a fantastic opportunity to re-envision the life I want and make a plan to build it. I recommend this to anyone serious about elevating their life and maximizing future success and happiness.”
- Chris Lopez
“Marty has a way of helping you realize things about what you want your future to look like that you wouldn’t be able to pull out on your own.”
- Kay Mitchell
WHY I’M DOING THIS
For more than two decades, I’ve spent my professional life making workplaces better so people can live better lives.
And all along, I’ve kept asking:
What would happen if we brought that same level of intention to the way we build our lives?
It’s a question I’ve tried to live, not just think about - being intentional about the kind of husband, dad, leader, and human I want to be, the experiences I want to have, and the life I want to build along the way.
That mindset is a big part of why I created this workshop.
I’m not here to tell you what your dream should be. My role is to create some space, ask good questions, guide you through a process I believe in, and help you pull the future you want out of your head and onto paper.
Because someday is a dangerous place to store the things that make us feel alive.
QUICK FAQs
Do I need to know what I want already?
Nope. Some people arrive with a pretty clear idea. Others have absolutely no clue. That’s kind of the point.
Is this basically goal setting?
Not exactly. Before asking what goals you should chase, we’ll start with the bigger question: What kind of life do I want those goals to create?
Will I have to share personal stuff?
No. There will be opportunities for conversation and connection, but you always decide what you’re comfortable sharing.
Do I need to prepare anything?
Nope. Just show up with an open mind and give yourself permission to think and dream BIG.
CLARIFY THE DREAM
If this sounds like something you could use right now, I’d genuinely love to have you in the room.
